You need to have your own transponder
From 1 January 2016 the transponder hire fee will be $15.00 plus GST for each transponder at each event. Considering you can purchase your own with a two year subscription for $75.00 you'd be mad to hire one from BMXNSW.
What do you do when you've purchased one?
Send your details to membership@bmxaustralia.com.au asking for your membership details to be updated with your new transponder number (also need to do this if you get a replacement transponder)

Transponder number (it's generally something like XX-000000) ... it's on the front of the transponder.
If you miss this bit it won't work at the next race meeting you attend.
Remember, if you have your own transponder you can use it at any race meeting in Australia ... eg Nationals, National Series, interstate events (that are using transponders)
