I inspected the Tamworth bmx track to find the track was in reasonable condition the only draw back was the berms with all of them showing wear with broken  up areas that reduce the tracks ability to hold racing with a gate of 8. The club has already reduced the gate to 4 riders and in this state it allows riders to navigate the track.The loop back section of the track needs attention with the entry of the bridge the tyres there are very hard and wouldn't offer any cushioning so I recommend the placement of old mattresses to offer protection to riders before any practice or racing.The dirt track surface is in good condition but there is a half brick that needs to be removed as it will pose a problem soon.I have been able to talk with a member of Tamworth bmx to raise my the issues I found, and they are very keen to do what's needed to conduct gates and racing with only 4 riders per gate and in this state I will pass the track for use and wish Tamworth bmx the best with there track changes that are coming and hope they again be part of the State racing.
